Conclusion

Now the that the CD/DVD drive is finally stealthed, it's one step closer to the ideal case. For the newbie modders out there, this can be one of the easiest mods to do. I highly recommend taking the time to alter that typical and generic look of your biege CD/DVD drive. Modding couldn't get any easier.

The cost for this modification was close to none. I had all the tools I needed to start with, so the only thing needed was the sticky pads which I bought at Home Depot. Yet another reason why this modifications is easy and highly universal. The only draw backs to this project is that the LED indicator isn't completely illuminated due to the strength of the stock LED. Replacing the stock LED with an Ultra Bright LED is another modification you can do on your own. Besides that, the project is flawless. Just don't waste a bezel piece in the process.
